2019 Pine Rivers Regatta
Details
Event information
Dear Dragons,
The next regatta (and just about final sprint regatta) on our list of targeted regattas for 2019 is the Pine Rivers Regatta which will take place at Lake Kurwongbah on 7th September. I strongly encourage as many of you to attend this regatta as possible as it'll be a good chance to blow out the sprinting cobwebs following the Head of the Tweed. Further, for those who aren't seasoned racers yet, it's simply a good opportunity to get on the water for a hit out.
Similar to previous regattas, if you'd like to attend, please register via Revolutionise by this Sunday (14th July) at the latest so I can look at getting crews on the water as soon as possible. If your Revolutionise login details have gone walkabout, please let me know and I will put your name down for you (the much preferred method of registration is via Revolutionise). It's probably pretty clear-cut by now what some of the crews will be given the regattas we had earlier in the year.
When registering, you'll be asked how many races you'd like to compete in. I've got a fair idea of what this number would be for most Dragons, however, I'll need to know just so I don't overload anyone. From a physical exertion point of view, three races is standard, four races is manageable. Five or more is pushing it.
Kind regards,
John Dickson
